The Plinth

At Hoek van Holland – Haven station, we completed a beautiful project called “De Plint”! The Plinth consists of general areas on the south side of the station.

This slat wall from our Semblance® series is 211 linear meters long and has a total of about 5,000 meters of slats. In terms of wood, we chose planed and untreated Cumaru, a durable hardwood from South America. The slats are mounted blind and even run with the curves of the building. A beautiful, durable and solid construction that will last for decades.
